Come on, pepperbox members!!!! Let's get this video to 3 MILLION ON YOUTUBE FOR NICK!!!!!! 6/14/2025
Thats Al Davis. Raiders owner who said if you aint cheating you aont trying
I firmly believe that whenever you file a video, it is as accurate as you can get it to be -- factually. I respect that. And that is why when I point out an inaccuracy, I am not accusing you of the inaccuracy -- we all have to go with our source materials, which I did for three decades as a newspaperman. The difference perhaps is that in our pages, we would publish our errors from the previous day's edition [very few goddamnit] but that's how you maintain credibility with your readership, and we said yeah, we screwed this up. And, the interesting thing that we did with corrections is we always included the actual fact that corrected our errors of fact. I respect you as an earnest journalist -- the highest respect I can give. But, if you will examine my posture as advice, that about this tiny little things but if you make a large error find out where it came from correct it and post the facts -- simple as that you will gain viewer trust because of that. My saying is when I was a newspaper man every 24 hours we strive for perfection, fall short and publish. Things are different now but only in kind not in effect. I wish the best for you my friend I will continue to watch your channel because you are kicking it.
When the HELL is the Carlos Hathcock movie?!
28:32 I have an idea why he called them Homer Hamburgers... I think your collab with PewView proved it with that second shot without the scope... 🤯
Id argue that elevation difference would be important as well.
Which of these engagements was the one where he used the starlight scope on an m-14?
Love ur honesty
I just found you on YouTube through Adam in Ireland that should one of your YouTube’s last week. I want you to know the story that you just told was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you very much.
Hannibal MISSOURI IS AWARE THE COLLECTIVE REVOLUTION HAS BEGUM!!
ARKANSAS REP LETS GOOO
I’ve read every scrap of literature I’ve been able to find on hathcock and once again Nick puts them to shame. The way you teach history is awesome
19:00, THAT'S ONLY AN 8x SCOPE? What, are you meant to press the end of the scope to your target? The thing is 10ft long...

I’m sure you’ve heard this before but I think it would be interesting to see you do a long form on Chris Kyle. I know given your background and how you speak on the background would most likely give us a chance to see the human aspect of a hero. We all got baggage but watching American sniper again after finding you I started looking into the background and realized how many layers he clearly had. I know you’d be able to make it honest but honorable.
Could have sworn the A course got to 249. Dont matter though it's different now.
My father and Mr. Hathcock had the same insurance agent. My mom and dad met him just doing day to day activities. Pretty kool!
But on ruby ridge what did he do? Yeah Carlos killed a woman holding a baby . What a man let's go Carlos
Vernon Baker next?
Time to do a video on the alamos scouts
“the hamburgers mustard up the courage” is crazy work

Hey boss, been loving the content! Was wondering: is there a story to tell about Gen. Bruno Hochmuth? He and my grampa were cousins and grew up playing together
Love your thorough research. Read the book about him but never knew this.
Are you funded by the military or government?
The Chuck Mawhinney is worth a look. There is a book out on him.
Yes though sharp shooters have been a thing since black powder octagon barrels and saloons and tumbleweeds
I truly love the respect and honor you give these heroes when telling their stories! Thank you so much for sharing these lost stories of these men and women!
Took me a second. But it’s a keyboard warrior. Haha. Nice
Great episode fat man! Carlos Hathcock indeed is the legend! If anybody's interested there's an interview with him on YouTube that's fantastic. He talks about some of his toughest shots and taking out a NVA General while in Vietnam. Pretty cool stuff speaking of snipers, I don't know if people are aware of it, but the Marines graduated their last class of marine scout snipers last year. They no longer are pursuing that segment of their Doctrine. I think that's the stupidest shit that I've heard in forever. When the shooting starts, a sniper can hold a company at Bay for 2 or 3 days.
This dude was the literal solid snake irl
That what I seen
He did it
He did it
They provide it
Long Trang.
In my head cannon, there is now a character in the backstory of NCIS that is Carlos Hathcock and he taught Gibbs. Honestly, genuinely surprised I haven’t seen a biopic about this dude yet. And thank you for emphasizing that women have been and can be exceptional snipers. I know it’s not the point of this video, but it’s a fight I’ve often witnessed online except every firearms instructor I’ve met would absolutely take a class of eager females over eager males. They’ll be more accurate and safer right out of the gate and it all comes down to physiology & ego.
My father's brother in law was in Vietnam. He wouldn't talk about it, refused to tell us anything other than he was in Vietnam, but he would wake up screaming in a fit more often than not. This supposedly went on from when he got home at the end of the war until mid 2005 when I was nearly 6 years old. Something happened and my dad finally had enough and confronted him on his issues and pressed him. Basically trying to force him into getting help before he gave himself the forever nap(which he eventually did years later). Rather than trying to explain himself or argue he just pulled a footlocker of pictures from under his bed and sat it on the table, opened it, took one out, made a comment about it then went back to his room. He had smuggled the film home, don't know how or why he did but he had them developed stateside. i only saw them for maybe 2 minutes before I was kicked out of the room. Those pictures gave me nightmares for weeks. Pictures that frankly never should have been taken in the first place. But on the very top of that footlocker full of pictures this 60 something year old man showed us was a single picture that stands out to me to this day. It was a picture of him standing in front of an M2 browning with a large scope mounted on it, the gun was mounted to a tripod that sat at waist height. He told the story in the form of a comment about him and the sniper who used it seeing people walking in a single file line at what he said was about a mile away and taking the head off the individual in front of the line "because it was funny". He never mentioned a name, he never showed us a picture of who was using it, and he never spoke of the military to us again. Back then the internet barely existed to most people. 21 years later its just common knowledge who was using it. My father never asked about his time in the military again, and never complained about hearing him wake up screaming, just got a sad look and ignored it.
Sorry I don't like see people with tatues
“Skating rink” lol omg
It’s well worth the effort
Any Sako’s in Vietnam?
Not the greatest sniper of all time. Maybe not even true like all that American sniper bs
I met Carlos' son while i was in the Corps. Based on his son's character, if his dad said he shot Santa Claus...... Christmas is over!
I did meet Mike Ewing whom helped him build the 50 cal sniper weapon great guy.
Not him pretty much saying myth busters are idiots🤣🤣 can't say hes wrong
Dango makes cooler wallets.
What does Carlos say right at the end?
You have done Carlos some justice.
My dad fought in wwii, Korea and Vietnam. He told me a story that he and another member of his platoon were in a dram house doing forward observer work. The place was obvious so the Germans shelled the farmhouse. He and his buddy ducked with his buddy falling in my dad. Dad felt blood running on his uniform. Thought he or his buddy were hit. Turned out his canteen took shrapnel!
My favorite sniper quote? 'A reporter asked a Marine sniper what he feels when he shoots a terrorist. He answered 'recoil''
Can you do a video on the Frozen Chosin? I feel like that would be a great one you could tell. One of the greatest books and a fairly decent documentary, Chosin. Hoping you can find the time to do this one for sure!
Theres a few things I can promise you this ain't my real name that was mac v sog and this operation never happened but if It did we would have choose Carlos
Myth busters also said filling a plastic gas can in your trunk can’t explode. The husband of my high school teacher had it happen. The back of their van was melted by it, the gas station was closed for months to repair fire damage and had pictures posted of the damage for years after they reopened so it didn’t happen again

You deserve all the subs and likes…. You could tell stories about anything and it would be riveting
I Love these long videos. Listening at work almost all day everyday
I was six years old when this happened. My parents were watching Peter Jennings report on it live but I wanted to watch cartoons. My mom calmly but sternly said “sit down with me, you’re watch history on tv”
Have you researched Charles “Chuck” Mawhinney?
The most terrifying potential platoon possible is pre/mid/post menopausal women. 1. They never sleep 2. They're always angry 3. "30% of my bodyweight? I'll carry that and my 50lb child 'cause im no 2 trip bitch"
For like 5 months now. I've put this video on every night as I go to sleep and I'm basically an expert in a very vague version of this story for the first time. Now I'm going to watch it and see the imagery
My grandfather is Maj. Edward J. Land. He is amazing man and grandfather. He sure has some really amazing stories. So proud to have his blood run through my veins. He is a true American hero.
His Vietcong code name was Long Trang (White Feather)
Every time one of your videos comes up in my recommended videos I watch. And at this point I think I have seen almost every video around 4times
I have 3 of those J.C Higgins .22's rifles they are great and reliably accurate

Ok dude…. You got me again, “Unaliveing people off the dollar menu”. Keep those nuggets coming. Thanks for the post.
This guy is very obviously autistic and it’s awesome
Honestly, immediately following and giving a like just for the sheer effort, you put into proving literal history.
"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" "But what if talent does work hard?" "...Then you should probably stay out of that motherfucker's way"
John Basilone ..May have more kills on Guadalcanal with a Machine Gun.??💪👑💛
How is this an hour? It was fifteen minutes max.
I love the videos on this channel, but I have to set the playback speed at 90%, haha! Dude rapid fires words like a machine gun
Any info on Sargent York. I was told he was a "Way Back Woods Man". Don't shoot at the Plane. Let the Plane fly into the shots. Or stand up into the line of fire. I'll take that !

I know you will probably never see this but just know that this video is a better explanation of anything that was told to me when I was in the marine corps for 5 years. I once asked a scout sniper, out of genuine curiosity, ‘what was it that made Carlos Hathcock such a legendary marine above everyone else in Vietnam’ and instead of explaining anything they only got angry to the point where I just had to walk away. Thank you for answering my question 9 years later. P.S. by the way, I’m a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu in Jacksonville, Florida and my professor is Luiz Palhares, 8th degree Red and White Coral Belt, if you’re ever in the area you’re welcome to train with us at Jacksonville Gracie Jiu Jitsu.
Dude you are actually selling things on here under Carlos Hathcock name phone cases stuff that will end up in a landfill come on man have some respect for White Feather. You can do better than that I understand you have to make a living but not with this man name as he was a hero a true warrior. Selling the books about him is a different story I think that is very cool. This man needs to be remembered. All of our Soldiers and Warriors need to be remembered... My Uncle was in Vietnam I was a little girl but I remember my aunt worrying sometimes but she was praying 🙏🏼 and writing him all the time. I thank God he got back... In the Army He was the tank Gunner and from what I've heard it's usually not a long lifespan in this position due to dangerous position. But then over there everything was dangerous. Another Uncle in the Marines another Uncle in the Air Force as another Uncle in the Navy also my great aunt was in the Navy for 27 plus years VERY very brave warriors Hey thank you and I don't mean this bad but you know if you do not drop the f-bomb so much so much it would be cool. When you see Carlos Hathcock interviewed you don't hear all that. Hey I'm not a saint. However I'm not on YouTube LOL You are on YouTube man thank you for the information. By the way were you in the Military. This is history my favorite and best subject thank you sir I truly mean I wish you and yours the very best in life. PS excuse spell and I love to learn about these things and I wasn't chastising you I was just saying it would be cool.

Carlos Hathcock AKA White White Feather I may have missed it but I do not recall you mentioning the rifle that was named after Carlos Hathcock was honored by having a rifle named after him: a variant of the M21 dubbed the "Springfield Armory M25 White Feather" for the nickname "White Feather" given to Hathcock by the North Vietnamese People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN). Carlos Hathcock white feather rest in peace 🕊️ This man was truly gifted taking care of the other soldiers he was a warrior all soldiers are warriors and let's go AWOL Carlos Hathcock what is an exception. It was truly a man's man. I love to see him interviewed he is show alert he's laid back but when another officer ask him something and he just quickly said yes sir I mean he was ready to go, meaning he had a lot of respect for whoever he was talking to he was very well-mannered alert and confident. I like the part about the bubble he would say he would get in his bubble.

American badasses don't run plain and simple
My nephew was in the last class of the Scout Sniper School, then it closed, and in the first class of the newly formed Recon Sniper School.
I have something that you might be interested in looking in to 8mm mouser I restored I got the gun originally with it plugged and in and bag disassembled
Im suprised you didnt get eid of it again😂😂
Homer hamburgers 😂😂😂😂
He is so universally revered the other services talk about him during Rifle training.
send me a scope i got two nl
15:38 Maybe it was a ritual to get him ready for wet firing. He is a marine, getting things pregnant is a part of the holy trifecta.
Look at all that cheese...
You out did Myth Busters. This is why I mainly only watch YouTube videos and content creators like The Fat Electrician.
SAA-LUTE!!!
Chuck Mawhinney https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuck_Mawhinney
Anyone know if this is close to camp guer
this is a video idea can you do ciero the dog the goodiest of boys
CIA is not military. They are rude, un-American and shit…camaraderie is not their expertise…tells me everything.
Rough deal. Hiding from drunk ass daddy with a loaded gun, is safer in the woods. Been there done that. It sets you up to stalk well and be patient. Thats why my first deer with a bow was at 7 (seven, yes) meters (20 feet for you primitives in the americas😂) ❤ stay frosty, spicy times y'all ❤

A few departures from the book; when Carlos and Captain land saw a scout from the hide and fought over the rifle the scout took off and reported the location and later the Apache and other VC approached looking for them and land called in artillery the Apache ran towards Carlos and he shot her.
Remember efficency isn't a money maker
