Thief Remaster next please!

I hope you guys don't mind my second post here. But I just have to say that even though the graphics still look a bit retro, that gameplay footage does show a product that looks incredibly smooth, for lack of better words. It's almost as though it looks like it's being rendered on a different 3D engine.

This, coming from a gamer who has been playing PC games since 1995, should be considered: You want to play one of the best PC games ever made, particularly in the survival-horror-RPG genre, look no further than this title. If you play it with headphones on, you'll really come into a totally different, immersive layer of gameplay. I remember distinctly when System Shock 2 released, it went onto winning multiple awards for "Best Sound" in a PC game, which shouldn't be a coincidence given that the same makers of Thief 2 (best sounding stealth game) also made System Shock 2.

I want to see a full System Shock 2 remake. Night Dive was beyond phenomenal with part 1. Part 2 is looking sharp in the remaster though. And I’m hoping they use stills from the remake launching the grove when we get the Shodan reveal.

99.9% of re-releases are censored. If there's any here, this will be yet another of the thousands I won't support. Devs need to learn. The extremely recent Oblivion remaster, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, Stalker Trilogy "Enhanced", and Onimusha were censored. "Better" examples? Dead Space remake, Resident Evil 4 remake, and Silent Hill 2 remake saw plenty of it too. General game list is overwhelming. Don't know System Shock well enough to catch any quickly, but hardcore fans lemme know if you notice any. Typical recolor or symbol change on health objects I can deal with. Other changes beyond that are are likely intolerable.

Ngl. aside from slightly better lighting I'm not really seeing any noticeable difference here that would justify the £21.59 price tag. I hope they fine tuned the gameplay at least by making things like the hit detection a bit better.

When it comes to underrated games this is the most overrated. Didn't age well at all.

From what im seeing...did they not fix the jump mechanics for the upcoming release? When I played it a decade ago, I had to hold the mapped jump button to climb on level surfaces like desks and such. I wonder if this weird mechanic was intentional.

Great game. Alwayq hated how the music goes crazy even when nothing is happening. Especially in Med Bay.

Наконец-то в этой игре появилась полноценная поддержка контроллера. Не то, чтобы это раньше было такой проблемой, просто приятно включить игру и сразу играть, а не сначало включить программу joytokey для маппинга кнопок, а потом ds4windows для гироскопа.

Absolutely superb game, even now I'm playing this for the 2nd time with my 12 year old son(played it when it originally came out). We're half way through. Would there be anyway to continue in this new version? Don't want to start over.

The music is too hype and loud... should have been quieter for the video... Love seeing the Deus Ex engine and this game finally ironed out, but the existence of the SS1 remaKE isn't making this any favors... i know i shouldn't but it is out there, and this feels dry in comparison. Hoping for the SS2 Remake actually happening and... a Deus Ex remaster!!!
