👍👍👍👏👏👏👏😁
Be well Brother
The DD214 huh? Thats kinda dirty lol handing everything its exit paperwork. Exit from this world.
Send a boarding crew Do not fucking pirate that vessel 😂 I can't stop laughing at this
1
Please can you do a video about the USS Johnston, Captain Evans, and the Battle of Samar. 🙌🫡
1
Well told.
This is some Battlefield shit.
Can you do the Battle of leyte gulf?
15:01 I thought you said they dropped all their depth charges and that's how they ended up on the submarine😮
I might download that game
You guys are almost there ....stop freaking out when u get followed and tighten up your figure 8 don't troll the length of the boat figure 8 tight but bury the rod in the water for depth it's the tight turns that entice the strike. Keep a rod with the smallest size swimbait for those times when they follow but wont bite. Never slow down your figure8 keep it fast. And for the love of god where is your surface baits u need some hawg wobblers and top raiders.
Man, if this code still works fat electrician is gonna be the new captain of the u.s.s kidd
We never called it hu anything, it was hfdf, just the letters said. You could ask some guys who did intel. CTR2 83-87. We had a washer that slide with the wave push doing 30 degree leans in the Sea of japan on the wall.
I’m wondering if this was the inspiration for the 1957 Robert Mitchum movie, The Enemy Below (or Duel in the Atlantic, in its German release). Maybe, maybe not, but the scenario was similar.
bF3 Friends reference is awesome
love the videos man! thanks for the entertaining knowledge
That sailor really brought a knife to a gunboat fight and I find that… absolutely absurd in the best way possible. Honorary mention to the gunner who scored a blunt force trauma achievement.

The USS Borie used body slam! It was not very effective.... The USS borie Used struggle! It was super effective!
Can we still get that in game stuff? Lol cause the game looks fun
HMS Glowworm ramming Admiral Hipper (WW2)
@12:33 exquisite use of Neebs Gaming!! 😂🥃
10:55 so does this technically make the American and German sailors step siblings?
The name of your ship kills me 😅😂 love it
Bring back pirate tactics
Can you do a video of the battleship USS NORTH CAROLINA aka "The Showboat"
That's a pretty hard win. Gutsy sailors all.
I laughed at your ships in World of War is DD214. Then realized that a while back Ak guy showed this.
I’ve been waiting for these commanders for World of warships legends
You might look at the civilian pilots flying their own aircraft patrolling the Atlantic coast after Pearl Harbor. Remarkably these planes with a 10 pound bomb under the wing, which was dropped by pulling a string, managed to score a couple of sub kills.
The flush deck, four stackers were everywhere and did everything. The Borie, the Ward, Reuben James, Cambletown, were all four stackers.
The fact that you used the term "voluntold" kinda tells me you've served. I don't know your personal history, but that one is a tell. But then, versus the U-Boot, "Farming the Germans for XP. They got one spawn point with one hole they have to crawl through." Dude, your MMORPG references absolutely slay me. 🤣
1
You had me at “whack-a-German”.
Can you sail?
Do jfk episode if possible
It’s the Navy Cross, not the naval cross...
Sounds like the movie "The Enemy Below" or the Star Trek episode "Balance of Terror".
Das boot the series has this moment in it
I’m annoyed YouTube doesn’t have a ❤option
Neebs cameo!
A ship with the nomenclature DD-214 OMG that's funny, so what's the name of the boat the USS IM OUT. I like that game, I've got to get that shit lmfao
Well said Me. President!
You should cover the Mark14 torps, you've mentioned how bad they were and they frequently were duds, but I wanna know the FULL story behind them
'Wack-a-German" 😂
DD214 SERIOUSLY??
No offense , but I don’t know how good a commander you’d be. I want Ching Lee !!! 😂😂😂😂😂
It is of my opinion, that the most gangster naval brawl of of ww2 is one of two. The last stand of the Tin Can Sailors, Taffy 3, in the Battle Off Samar, or The USS O'Bannon, who sank a Japanese submarine with potatoes!
I love that a clip from Battlefield Friends was used. Neebsgaming is amazing. Absolutely love those guys.
Nick is a whole Rockstar now 😂😂😂
I feel your pain, brother. I dislocated my shoulder and I don’t like it. It’s painful and it sucks.
could you do a video on the Seawolf? they welded two nuclear submarines together for an extra long mission to go tap into russian phone lines underwater, my old boss, (rip) was a navy seal and had some wild stories about it
Bas ass story You tell it well
What movie is it that he shows clips of ? Of the war in ocean
I don't even watch the history channel anymore thanks to this channel
You have rapidly become my favorite YouTube channel. Love the stories love the telling!
She'll casing kill took me out
You have to do a video of the USS Biscayne
You need to talk to Activision. You should be a skin in Black Ops6.
Please do a video of the battle of Lake Erie with Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry. One of the most insane big dick energy moves ever in a naval battle
that video of the coast guard combat boarding a sub isn't AS impressive as it looks since that type of sub can't actually dive any lower than it already was. Still badass though.
Would like to see your take on the battle of Leyte Gulf.
Thanks for sharing the USS Borie Story and Hutchins story 17:30 @TheFatElectrician

Who says you can't bring a knife to a naval battle?
When I heard they rammed, i was thinking boarding action until you said the capt. Called that shit off lmfao. He knows the enlisted.
I'm pretty sure he had some close friends on the Nevada so he wasn't a happy camper on December 8th
Farming for XP🤣🤣🤣
DD214 is a crazy boat name
Getting a knife kill on a guy who's on a different boat from your boat has to be rare, I don't think it was the first time ever since I imagine pirate and wind powered Navy battles had some knife throwing shenanigans going on but I am sure this was the only time in human history where a sailor on a ship killed an enemy who was on a submarine with a knife. What would make it even better is if it was one of those old Navy issue folding jack knives, either way absolutely incredible that is some Final Destination level nonsense.
You're not doing Jiu-Jitsu right if you're not getting hurt. lol
Rewatching this because it’s such a great story. Just like all your other vids!
Worst injuries that I've had, have been from Jiu Jitsu hahaha. But if I had to endure it all over again, I would.
2 requested videos, one similar to this about the little destroyer HMS glowworm ramming a German cruiser despite knowing that it would end themselves but if they were going to sink they'd try take the German ship with them. A story of bravery and respect from the enemy who attempted to save as many british sailors as possible. Second I'd love to see a video about the grand old lady HMS Warspite because she was a tank had literal plot armour as an added defence and is the most decorated ship in royal navy history.
A quick thought: how many scripted moments (WoW) you have telling your Captain (player) "you're a F$%# idiot", "You're going to get us all killed", "You're going to do WHAT?", etc...? At 15:00; Oops, I thought the ship was out of depth charges? ;-)
Great job as usual. I noticed a lot of similarities to my favorite movie of all time, “Enemy Below” with Robert Mitchum and Curt Jurgens. Even down to the ship ramming the sub and resting on top. Anyone know whether the movie is based on USS Borie event?
Hey Nick, I've been watching your content for the last week and you're an amazing storyteller. You're also absolutely correct, every story you've told are movies ready to be made. Have you ever thought about writing a screenplay? You have plenty of data to grab from. I've been thinking about a movie about how Francis Scott Key got his inspiration to write The Star-Spangled Banner after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by the British during the War of 1812. Apparently American soldiers literally sacrificed themselves and held up the flagpole as the British sent wave after wave of cannon shot, trying to knock down Old Glory and failed. I think this is a movie Americans need, especially now. Maybe this could be another project for you, the defense of Fort McHenry and how gangster. bada$$ those boys were, literally dying for their flag. I went on more than I meant to; to end let me say thanks for your service and God bless you and your fam. Both of your channels are bada$$, love your content.
Please do a story about Caesar crossing the Rubicon.
14.42. I'm surprised you didn't use the line from "Hot Shots Part Deux" "Who ever dies in this fight, loses."
badasses
From Texas, Uss Texas wasn't all good. Ww1 battleship. Didn't have a chance in hell against a Bismarck or Japanese battle ships. Uss Texas sleeps next to the San Jacinto monument.
Wait... Does this mean in world of war ships you can make fat electrician command the Yamato?
Big hammer we all know "doing jiu-jitsu" is code for getting passionately relational. Good for you all! There might be some soreness after, but it's for a good cause.
Oh my God the neebs reference killed me 😂😂😂
Bad asses on the boat saving lives and giving up theirs! ❤ you will never be forgotten.
Im guessing AR-10 two FDE an black
"How did the captain know when to turn this tub?" "Because he's the captain. And that's why he is and you ain't.
i heard USS CARD THAT WAS SUNK IN THE HARBOR IN VIETNAM IN 64 LOOK THAT ONE UP. JIM WHITLEY BM3 USS ALUDRA AF55
I served on the USS BORIE DD 704 from 1956 till 1960
Dude. We know your hand slipped off the end, that's what hurt your arm
Nah. If you want the top ship-on-sub gangster action, check out the fight of HMNS Kiwi and Moa against the Japanese submarine I1. Both of them put together massed about the same as USS Borie and had half the armament. U-405 weighed about 800 tons and I-1 roughly 2500 tons. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYxsvfiwj4A)
That battlefield friend’s reference was perfection!😂😂
Something's up with your audio. There's music dubbed over every one of your videos I try to play
I bet that was fun, scallywaggin with the boys, kicking ass not losing any guys
Your story telling is gripping
world of war ships is fun until you find out they put the USS Missouri behind a huge pay wall.
11:30 random bullshit go!
Glorious. Glorious. Good old fashion 17th Century warfare.
I did the same thing with my bicep a few years ago, it ended up rolled up on top of my shoulder. Hurt like a mofo! Same deal, drilled, poked and pinned. If you ask your doc will tell you it's nowhere near as strong as the original. That's just lovely.

LOL, seriously? The DD-214 for a destroyer? Don't really care for such a game personally, but as a vet, that is hilarious.
17:15 should have used the mchales navy clip lol
i think its funny that the USS borie is the DD215...and you ship is the DD214 :) hilarious
